SHIPPING, PACKAGING & DELIVERY

All orders are shipped within 48 hours (subject to card clearance) by ‘signed for’ courier service. The couriers operate a Monday to Friday service between 9am - 5pm and a specific time slot cannot be specified. Please note during busy periods such as Christmas & when courier services are disrupted due to ash clouds, inclement weather and the like, shipping may take longer.

Your purchase will be appropriately packaged.  Shirts will arrive in a rigid shirt box, cufflinks in a delightful Blaqua branded lacquered wooden case & ties in a clear poly slip.  If you have any specific personalisation required such as gift wrapping or alternate address for invoice to be sent, please contact prior at point of purchase.  Where possible, we will endeavour to recycle padded envelopes & cardboard boxes, rather than generating more eventual waste.

 

 

 

CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES

If you live outside the EU, please be aware that local customs or import duties may be charged when your parcel reaches your country.  Please note that recipients outside the EU will be responsible for any IMPORT DUTIES, CLEARANCE FEES and any other additional charges.

We operate on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, this is managed by our carriers City Link & Royal Mail on a 'pay on delivery' basis.  Sometimes goods may be subject to delays, due to customs or weather.  The customer is also responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.  Please note that we are unable to refund any duty paid on any items returned to us either faulty or unsuitable as this is a contract between the purchaser and own country Customs & Excise.

Delivery/Shipping charges (excluding duty) and lead times are as follows, please note these are working days and do not include weekends or holidays and are not guaranteed.

UK DELIVERY £ 6.00 (allow 3-5 days for delivery), REST OF THE WORLD DELIVERY £10.00 (allow 3-14 days for delivery)

If you have still not received your order, or a notice from the courier indicating that delivery of your order has been attempted, within 48 hours of receiving confirmation that you order had been dispatched please email us at customerservice@blaqua.net

 

 

PURCHASE & PAYMENT

Prices shown are in UK Pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at 20.0%.  Orders delivered within the European Union will be inclusive of VAT.

For countries outside the EU and Channel Islands all purchases are VAT free.  This will be automatically calculated as you add items to your shopping basket.

Please note that all orders are subject to security review, if an order is rejected during to this process all monies will be immediately refunded.

Currently we do not accept American Express, apologies for any inconvenience.

 

 

RETURNS

Blaqua online offers the same returns policy as our retail store.  Please retain your receipt and fill in the Returns Form attached to your delivery.

We are happy to issue a full refund upon receipt or alternatively, we will exchange the items for you.  Return the products to us, in their original packaging with the labels intact and in perfect condition, within 14 days and with your proof of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

Do not return products in soft packaging such as envelopes or Jiffy bags as this may damage the product & original packaging in transit.

We will not accept any returns from CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EU if Duty Charges were not paid by the customer on receipt of goods.

We only refund postage for faulty or damaged goods.

Please allow 2-3 days for refunds to be credited to your account once processed.

If no proof of purchase is produced, refund or exchange will be at the last known selling price. This does not affect your statutory rights.

As stated above, please note that we are unable to refund any duty paid on items returned to us either faulty or unsuitable as this is a contract between the purchaser and own country Customs & Excise.

PLEASE NOTE our Blaqua retail store cannot issue refunds for items bought via the website.

CARE GUIDE

SHIRTS

Wash ideally at 30 degrees centigrade & iron whilst damp. We personally don’t recommend heavy nor regular starching of your shirts as it tends to increase the deterioration of our fine fabrics. For the same reason we do not recommend the use of fabric softeners, also they tend to smell artificially horrid & collide with your pheromones!

 

TAILORING & NECKWEAR

If careful spot cleaning can be used, then do so. However, if you need to, but be warned dry cleaning does erode away at the quality & longevity of your garment & its rubbish for the environment, then dry clean using a decent service. We strongly recommend Elias as they really do know what they are doing. 

We now offer all our bespoke customers the first clean on us & obviously as we've just recommended them, we use Elias as they are the best in town!

Please note that all our designs are purposely placed randomly onto each garment, so please expect to find that some of our designs, especially the larger floral designs, to differ slightly from the photographed image.  We like it this way so that every item is ultimately unique!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Blaqua Limited is committed to providing you with Terms & Conditions of sale which are easy to understand and which are fair to you.  Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained in these Terms & Conditions.

Definitions

“We/us” means Blaqua Limited, the seller of the goods.

“You” means the customer acting as a consumer.

“Courier” means City Link or Royal Mail, or such other courier as we may choose.

“Delivery date” means the date specified by the seller when the goods are to be delivered, however time is not of the essence of this contract.

“Goods” means the items which you agree to buy from us the seller.

These Terms & Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the purchase of goods by you from us the seller to the exclusion of all other Terms & Conditions which you may purport to apply under any sales offer or purchase order.  These Terms & Conditions supersede all previous agreements and understandings between the parties.  Any amendment to the Terms & Conditions will only be effective if signed by a director of Blaqua.

 

 

LEGAL

1. Blaqua takes a great deal of care in ensuring that information which we obtain about you is treated appropriately and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  We will not sell your personal information to any third parties.

2. We use the information that we collect about you to:

a) Process your order expeditiously and efficiently.

b) In order to enable the goods to be delivered to you we have to pass on your address to our third party couriers.  If it is in our possession we will also pass on details of your telephone number in order to allow our couriers to contact you directly in the event of a query regarding delivery.

c) Contact you regarding forthcoming offers by email only.  We will not telephone you unless the telephone call relates to a particular order that you have made.  Credit card and debit card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are only dispatched once authorisation has been obtained.

We may use information concerning you for payment recovery or to investigate any possible fraud in the event that credit or debit card payments have been used in a fraudulent manner.  Please note that we may be required to disclose information concerning you if requested to do so by the police.
